Q: How far in advance should I schedule / reserve my date?
A: The earlier you schedule, the more certain you can be of securing the date and time of day you prefer.
Once you pick out a day and a time, call or email us.
Q: What is the cost?
A: We charge a very fair and competitive price for guaranteed dependable service. Please check our "other pages for base rates or
contact our reservations office for current price quotes.

These fees for this is listed on our website.
Q: Are there any hidden costs?
A: NO, we do not have any hidden fees, ALL our fees are listed on our website. Mileage fuel sur-charge per mile fee is listed: we would
need to know your location to be able to give an exact rate to your location, as it depends on the mileage you are from us.
Q: Is there a minimum time requirements?
A: Pony Rides are a minimum of one pony for one hour, which is a popular and affordable option for may private parties.
The small Petting Farm is one hour minimum and the others have a one & half hour minimum.
Please see our individual pages for minimums.
Q: How many ponies do I need?
A: One pony is generally suitable up to 12 - 15 children to take several rides during an hour. Some children may only want to ride once
and be done and others will want to ride several times. Most yard space is limited in size, so it is best to hire one pony for longer
time than more ponies.
Q: How much time do we need with the pony?
A: One pony will provide multiple rides for up to 12 - 15 children, no problem. If you have more than 12 - 15 children attending, you may
want to consider increasing your time to 1-1/2 or 2 hours or schedule a second pony (if space allows). You want to allow time for
rides, and photo time.
Q: What happens if it starts raining during the event?
A: If it is lightly raining, we will still do rides. If the event is at your home, you need to provide a dry place for the kids who are waiting to
ride.
We will halt the rides if there is lightning, hail, dangerous winds or extreme hard downpours.
Q: What if the weather doesn't look favorable. Do you still come?
A: Yes, we will come rain or shine, unless you call us to cancel or reschedule.
We will not do pony rides or set up a petting farm if weather in not safe. i.e.: tornado warnings, lightning, hail or dangerous winds.
We will provide you with the option of cancelling or rescheduling to another date.
Q: What time will you arrive?
A: For pony rides, we strive to arrive 10--20 minutes early to get the pony ready and the area set up.0
A: For petting farms we arrive approx. 30--60 minutes early to set-up pens.
Q: We fertilize our lawn and apply weed killers, Is this a concern for the pony or the petting farm?
A: Yes it is a concern, as the animals are plant/grass eaters and it is a danger of poisoning.
Please do not treat your yard with any chemicals at least 15 days for pony rides and 30 days for petting farms.
If you have put chemicals on your lawn, PLEASE let us know and we can bring matting as a barrier for the petting farm animals.
Q: Is there a weight/size limit for the pony rides?
A: Yes, for the child's safety and the pony's safety and well being we do have weight/size limits for each of our ponies.
Most of them can carry riders up to 75 -- 100 lbs.
We have options regarding pony or horse size. Miniature horses, fitted with small saddles ,to cater to the very little clients or larger
ponies that can accommodate children up to about 60 lbs.. then a little larger pony for up to 75 -- 100 lbs. we even offer full size
horses for older siblings or adults who would like to experience the ride, they can accommodate up to about 220 pounds.
Please keep this weight restrictions in mind when reserving your pony and inviting guests - this is also for the safety of the children
as each of our saddles are intended for certain size riders.
Q: Is there an age restriction for pony rides?
A: Our target age groups are usually 10 years of age and under. we may restrict some weights on different ponies.
We will only give rides to children who are at least 1 year old. The reason for this is because younger children do not have the
strength in their necks to keep from being bounced around. However, if you want to hold a smaller child on the pony for pictures, we
can accommodate you.
We do require an adult to walk along side all children that are under 2-1/2 years old and any child you is insecure.
Q: Where do you do the pony rides and petting farms. Do you bring the animals to us?
A: Yes, we come to the location of your choice, Your yard, business, neighborhood park, school, etc.
Q: We want to have our child's party in a local park. Is this okay?
A: In most cases, yes. We ask our clients to verify with local park administrators, homeowners associations, or city officials to make
sure that have permission to have ponies or petting farm animals at their event location.

Q: I have a dog, Is this a problem?
A: Our ponies and petting farm animals have been around dogs. However, your dog may not be used to them. We suggest that you
confine the dog so as not to alarm the children or animals with a barking dog. Dogs can be a serious safety hazard for the children,
the pony and the dog,
Q: What about clean after the event?
A: We come prepared with necessary tools to remove any animal droppings. However urine may leave a brown spot in your grass.
Our staff will make sure everything is cleaned up before they depart.
Q: Can we feed the pony or petting farm animals?
A: Not all of them; we ask that you please do not feed the animals unless the staff members says it is okay. Our animals are on special
diets and some foods can make them sick. We will provide treats for specific animals.
We have taught most of our animals that little hands are for petting, not for eating. Ad feeding treats by little hands can get little
fingers bitten by accident.

Q: How much space do we need to provide for pony rides and petting farm?
A: Not a lot of space is need. We will do pony rides in your back yard or front yard. the more space the better, but small yards work
just fine.
Pony Rides - Because our ponies are hand-led, we can be creative with our pony rides, so long as the ground is relatively level and
the environment is safe. we cannot walk the ponies on rocks, mud or steep slopes.
We suggest you pretend you are walking an "extra large dog" beside you and see if you can create a good walking route. Making
sure that there are no low hanging tree branches in the way. We can walk around play equipment, but for safety reasons, we ask
that it not be used during the rides.

Petting Farms - Size needed depends on which size farm you choose. The small petting farm needs approx. a 10'x12' area. the
larger farm needs approx. 20'x20' area, and the extra large deluxe farm needs approx. 30'x40' area.
Q: Will the petting farm animals eat my trees , lawn grass etc?
A: Yes, if the set up area is near or in an area with vegetation, they will eat it. Please note we are not responsible for damage to
property, trees, branches, bushes, grass etc. we prefer to set up our petting pens away from trees and bushes they can eat on, as
some are toxic to the animals.
