RESERVATIONS
To reserve our service for your event on a requested date / time, you will need to email us or speak directly with an associate via phone (text messages are not read), once committed to a particular service/date/time we will then temporarily hold your requested service-date-time for 5 business days and send you the reservation paperwork via fax or temporary hold for approx 10 days and send your paperwork via US postal service, you will need to fill out and return to us with your deposit payment. If not received in our office by the close of the deadline date listed on your reservation form, your reservation will automatically be removed from our data-base calendar. Your paperwork needs to be returned to us ASAP to guarantee your request. The returned paperwork along with deposit will confirm your reservation. We will not permanently reserve your request without the paperwork /deposit and will not be considered reserved until received.
*From November 1st through March 15th we are closed for the season and only certain services are available during these months. Also during these months we are only half staffed in our office. Contacting us via phone message during these times may take several days for us to be in contact with you. Our electronic form is the quickest way to contact us, as we have staff that can monitor this during off hours and reply back quicker.
*Spring and Fall are super busy seasons and have a tendency to book up several months in advance. So plan ahead!
We Do Not Accept returned paperwork via fax, it must be returned to us via US postal service along with payment to the address provided.
* A Deposit is required along with reservation paperwork. Sorry, we are unable to accept your paperwork in person at the address given.
** If booking through a middle-man company (gigsalad etc) there will be additional charges of $75 or 30% (whichever is greater)
FEES & PAYMENTS
Payments can be made by:
*** Check sent via US Postal Service. Sorry, we are unable to accept payments in person at address given.
*** PayPal with a credit card, prior arrangements must be made with CR. We only accept credit card payments on payments of $250 or greater.
There is an additional fee that CR charges for payments made through PayPal. PayPal is currently taking 7 to 10 days to credit your payment, so you will not be credited for up to 10 days after you make the payment, which could affect your reservation)
*** If Booking your reservation through a "middleman service" e.g. GigSalad and not directly through our own staff, there will be an additional fee charged ($75 or 30%, whichever is greater)
*** A 50% Deposit is required with reservation paperwork and the balance must be received in our office at least 12 days (excluding Sundays) prior your reserved date or due date listed on your reservation form.
Failure to pay the balance by due date on your reservation contract form could forfeit your reservation.
Be sure to mail out in plenty of time for us to receive on time and to ensure we receive payment before the deadline/due date.
Once due date has passed and reservation has been cancelled there may be a $50--$100 late fee / reinstatement fee / handling fee charged to reinstate your reservation.

Mileage / Fuel Sur-Charge
With the continued rising cost of fuel, we must charge a fuel sur-charge depending on your location. This fee is added to the base price rates. ($10 minimum fee) and will be given in the final quote before booking. we feel this is the fairest way for those farther away to cover their own cost ~verses~ raising the rates across the board and those more local having to pay for those further away. No fees are ever hidden. All fees are specified to you before booking your event.
Weather

We will bring the ponies and petting farm rain or shine!
Our Company will only cancel if severe weather, lightning, hail, or extreme wind storms occur. If this happens prior us in transit to your location, we will contact you and offer full refund or you may re-schedule.
** If this were to occur once in transit to your location or during the event, for safety factors the rides will be halted and all animals placed in the trailer. This decision is at the discretion of our staff members attending your event. No discounts will be given for unused time.
If you wish to cancel due to rain or weather conditions:
We understand wanting to change the date if weather is bad, Please also understand for us that we have a lot of prep time for your event.
We need to know about a change at least 24 hours before your event.
Last minute "Bad Weather Cancellations" deposit/payments made are non-refundable, But can be used towards another available date rescheduled within 6 months
* We need to be notified about a cancellation or rescheduled event in advance, if we are in transit or arrive at your event, payment is due in full.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING POLICY
General Cancellation Procedures & Refunds
* All cancellations must be made by phone call to us and via Email (must be from email you provided in the reservation paperwork)
So send your email notice then make the phone call to the number provided on the reservation form and we will work out a new date for you or
make arrangements for your refund.
* Any cancellation made at least ten days in advance of event date/time will receive full refund or may reschedule and apply payment towards
another date/time at the discretion of Carriage Run.
* There must be at least a 48 hour prior notice of any cancellation or you will be charged prep-fees, unless weather condition is involved, then
weather policy applies. (at the discretion of Carriage Run management)
TERMS
+++ Pony Rides - available during the months of April through October. One hour minimum rate. November through March by special request only, policies / rates may differ. Special request off season will have additional fees.
+++ Petting Farms are available during the months of April through October. November through March by special request only, policies / rates may differ. There will be additional fees during November through March.
Only certain Petting Animals are available during the months of November through March.
+++ Petting animals for Indoor Parties and Educational Programs are available year 'round. Inquire about rates.
+++ Bunny Parties are available year 'round. (November through March must be held indoors unless exceptional temperatures occurs)
+++ The rates listed on website are for bookings that deposit has been receive at least 15 days prior event date.
+++ Last minute bookings that are less than 15 days in advance may have an additional charge. (10% to 50%). Although two weeks advance notice is preferred, we can sometime accommodate you with less notice.
Most of our dates book up full (without any availability) 6 to 8 weeks in advance.
So be sure to book your event well in advance to ensure you get the date/time and service you desire.
+++ Reservation forms may be sent to you via Fax or US Postal Service. But must be returned to us via US Postal Service along with deposit.
+++ To guarantee your reservation, "Reservation Forms" must be in our office by required date and payments received by required dates.
+++ CR reserves the right to cancel for uncontrollable circumstances.
+++ Safety riding helmets available upon requests.
+++ Bookings that are scheduled for Holidays and Holiday Weekends may have an additional "Holiday Fee" of 50%--75%.
If any Government offices etc are closed for the Holiday (US Post Office-Banks-Schools) then we consider it a Holiday.
If a Holiday falls on a Monday then that weekend (Sat-Sun-Mon) is considered a Holiday Weekend. Note some weekends include Fridays.
Thanksgiving is on a Thursday, so the Holiday rates would apply to Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday of that week.

CR's Party Rules
CR wants to make your event a safe and memorable experience. therefore, the following rules must be followed at every event our ponies and petting farms attend.. These rules are for the safety of your children and the well being of our animals.
1. We do have size & weight limits for our ponies & saddles. To ensure we reserve the correct size pony for your event, we need to know ages of the youngest and oldest riders that will be attending your event. CR caters to children ages 10 years and under. Infants may be set on the pony for photos, but will not be permitted to ride, this is for the infants spinal/neck safety.
We want to accommodate all children and not leave anyone out. Our staff members have the right to refuse any rider they feel is over limits for the specific pony.
2. Any person who will come within 10 feet of our ponies - petting animals MUST be wearing shoes. Those barefoot, wearing flip flops, sandals or unsuitable footwear Will Not be permitted to ride the pony or be near the animals. This is for safety reasons.
3. There are to be NO Dogs, leashed or otherwise within 30 feet of our ponies and petting farms. And all barking dogs need to be left indoors.
Dogs can be a serious safety hazard for the children, the animals and the dog.
4. Once a rider has mounted the pony, all other children must stay out of the "pony ride area". Those waiting for a ride must wait at the designated spot. Children are not permitted to follow in front of, beside of or behind the pony while a rider is mounted.
5. There will be absolutely NO hitting, teasing, throwing objects, or generally annoying our ponies or petting animals.
* No kicking the pony or jumping up & down on the saddle while riding
* No running or yelling near the riding pony or petting animals
6. No bon-fires, candles or fires of any kind within 50 feet of our ponies and petting animals (yes BB-Q grills are fine). Absolutely No firecrackers or fireworks of any kind.
7. Blow up Air Bouncing Rooms should be kept at least 30 feet away from our ponies and petting animals.
8. Although our ponies and animals have been trained to accept them, please keep all operating motorcycles, quads, lawn mowers, tractors etc at least 50 - 100 feet from our ponies and petting animals
9. All pony rides must be conduct on grass, dirt or suitable surface. For the safety of the children and our ponies, no rides will be conducted on gravel, concrete or pavement. The client must provide a quiet, relatively level, safe footing area ( grass, dirt or suitable surface), free of holes, mud etc. for pony rides to be conducted on. CR will not be held liable for pony slipping, tripping or falling on unstable footing.
And please clean up your dog feces before we arrive, we will not conduct pony rides or set up our petting farm where there is dog feces.
We do not leave our animal mess for you to clean up, Our staff will clean up any animal mess before they depart.
10. All pony rides lasting two or more hours require that all ponies have at least one 10 minute rest / water break per hour.
11. No food, drinks, or wet clothing permitted on ponies or saddles.
12. All petting animal pens need to be set up on a fairly level area, preferably grassy. Away from any bushes or limbs they can eat.
If we need to set up on pavement, we charge an additional fee for the bedding and the extra cleanup time it requires.
13. Has fertilizers or weed killers been used or plan to use on your lawn 30 days prior scheduled event? You need to let us know!
We cannot set up out petting animals where they can come in contact with chemicals. They are toxic to the animals and are very dangerous to them.
14. All children that are too young or too small or unsecure must have a side-walker for pony rides. Children 2 years and younger must have a side walker.
Absolutely no double riders permitted on the ponies.
15. You the Client and the Parents are responsible for watching the children attending your event at all times and seeing that all CR Rules are followed and to inform your guest of these rules.
16. Petting Farm animals are not for sitting on, riding or picking up. They are for petting only. "PETTING Farm"
17. For the safety of your children and the well being of our animals, we do not permit the ponies and petting animals to be fed except by permission from CR Pony Party staff. Most are on a special diet and hand feeding some animals may promote nipping of little fingers.
